University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Nurse to provide exceptional in-home nursing care to our patients in Livonia, MI. This role involves delivering personalized health care services in a home setting, promoting patient comfort, recovery, and independence.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate any changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide wound care, injections, catheter care, and other clinical services as needed.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- Valid RN license to practice in Michigan.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in home care or related field.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes within the Livonia area.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
