Alignment Health is committed to serving seniors and those who need it most, focusing on transforming lives through passionate care. The HR Coordinator will assist various areas of the HR Department with daily administrative tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations support.
Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to the HR Department in various functions. Functions may include any of the following: recruitment, onboarding, benefits, employee relations and training
- In office HR mail management intake and completion
- Act as the primary contact for new hires and provide day one readiness
- Review and complete new hire IT onboarding tickets
- Complete Verify Comply data base for all new hire screenings
- Helps organize employee and HR engagement activities, training sessions, and meetings
- Handles employee documentation such as applications, contracts, bonuses, performance reviews, leaves of absence and benefits information
- Responsible for coordinating all new hire welcome emails, New Hire Orientation, meet and greet with hiring managers
- Partner with internal team members to ensure all onboarding documents are completed to include: screening status, new hire documents for I-9, pre-hire requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in HR Coordinator role, onboarding support, recruiting operations, customer support within HR
- Experience processing unemployment claims
- Intermediate to Advance experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
- HRIS experience within Workday, ADP, or similar platform
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Ability to communicate positively, professionally and effectively with others
- Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to establish and maintain a constructive relationship with diverse members, management, employees and vendors
- Reasoning Skills: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks; advanced problem-solving; ability to use advanced reasoning to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and design, implement and manage appropriate resolution
- Problem-Solving Skills: Effective problem solving, organizational and time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of human resources experience within the healthcare or insurance industry
- Familiarity with HR compliance and labor law
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
- Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree
