Illustrator Needed for 2D Character Sheets (Raster, Multi-Option, Digital & Print)

Apply Now
I’m looking for an illustrator to create a modular character system as raster-based character sheets for a children’s web app (ages 2–5), along with a set of simple illustrated scenes. This is not a vector project. All assets should be created in high-resolution raster format and should work for both digital use and print. If you’ve worked on character builders, avatar systems, or modular character sheets with interchangeable parts, that’s a big plus. You will be creating a modular character system delivered as layered raster files where parts can be mixed and matched to create complete characters. Each character sheet should include multiple options such as head shapes, hairstyles, eye shapes, facial features, and boy/girl variations. The head area is the most important and should have the most variation. There are only two outfit options, so most differentiation comes from facial and head features. All elements need to align cleanly when combined, be consistently scaled and positioned, and be easy to use for both web and print. You will also create full-body versions of the characters with a few poses (neutral and light motion), along with simple illustrated scenes or panels. These scenes should have clean, minimal backgrounds that match the character style. Some may include a few simple objects but should remain visually simple. Final files should be well-organized layered raster files (PSD or similar). Everything should be consistent, reusable, and structured so it can be easily implemented in a web app and adapted for print. In the attached scene example, the scene are simple, and the character in blue would be built using the modular parts you create. The other attachement is a stock example of a character sheet - we'd want the final deliverable to be similar.
