- Responding to user requests and issues via phone, email, chat, or in person
- Installing, configuring, updating, and maintaining hardware and software components
- Diagnosing and resolving technical problems with computer systems, servers, storage, printers, networks, access points, routers, switches, firewalls, and other devices
- Providing training and guidance to users on how to use various network applications and systems
- Documenting and reporting technical issues, solutions, and feedback
- Collaborating with other IT staff, outsource partners and vendors to ensure optimal performance and security of the systems and services
- Performing routine maintenance and backup of systems and data
- Evaluating and optimizing network performance data regarding things like speed, connectivity, and disaster recovery
- A degree in computer science, information technology, network engineering, or a related field
- Experience in providing technical support and customer service
- Knowledge of common operating systems, applications, and protocols
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems in a timely and effective manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly
- Open to travel to remote sites as required
- Certifications from reputable organizations such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, Redhat, VMWare, AWS, Google, IBM, etc.
