<strong>Position : IT Program / Project Management<br><br></strong><strong>Location : San Diego, CA<br><br></strong><strong>Duration : 12 Months<br><br></strong><strong>Total Hours/week : 40.00<br><br></strong><strong>1st Shift <br><br></strong><strong>Client: Medical Device Company<br><br></strong><strong>Job Category: Information Technology<br><br></strong><strong>Level of Experience: Mid-Level<br><br></strong><strong>Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens or GC Holders Only)<br><br></strong>3 Must haves on the resume: Project management, infrastructure background, vendor management.<br><br>Work hours East coast hours mainly, however if project is outside of time zone, I expect flexibility.<br><br><ul><li>Remote <br><br></li></ul><strong>Job Description<br><br></strong><ul><li>As a member of the IT Site Services and Solutions (ITSS) team you will be responsible for ensuring Infrastructure projects are successfully transitioned into client’s existing ITSS operating model. </li><li>This position will be handling multiple projects with high visibility and will be reporting directly to the Central Delivery and Planning Sr. Manager of Information Technology Site Services and Solutions. </li><li>The candidate owns related Project Management, Project Execution, Communications Management as well as Risk and Issue Management.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Primary Responsibilities Will Include<br><br></strong><ul><li>Partner with Mergers and Acquisition team members and drive any related projects.</li><li>Drive the execution of the ITSS team’s major projects.</li><li>Drive the execution of project actions related to architecture and standards delivery.</li><li>Produce/co-ordinate all required information for the gating processes in line with policies and methods for the regional IT org and ensure gating processes are executed at the right time.</li><li>Manage project scope and change control, escalating issues as necessary; Co-ordinate the execution of the Communication Plan and participate in the decision making where appropriate.</li><li>Managing project progress and adapt work as required.</li><li>Ensure project deadlines, budget, and business requirements are met.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications Required<br><br></strong><ul><li>5+ years IT Program / Project Management or Project Execution.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT or similar field of study / work experience.</li><li>Extensive experience managing IT projects / programs.</li><li>Proven history demonstrating subject matter expertise in IT infrastructure including.</li><li>Network, Data Centre, Telephony technologies (Technical expertise desired).</li><li>Cloud compute & storage (e.g. Azure, Oracle, and AWS).</li><li>Infrastructure solution design.</li><li>Experience in execution of large-scale projects, leading outsourced delivery teams.</li><li>Excellent Communication Skills.</li><li>IT Project Management.</li><li>IT Project Management Tools (MS Project, SharePoint, Service Now or Equivalent).</li><li>IT Project Leadership.</li><li>Project Risk/Issue/Change Management.</li><li>Business Acumen.</li><li>Effective leadership and work delivery through others.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree required.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Skills Preferred<br><br></strong><ul><li>PMP / PMP Certification.</li><li>PMO Team Leadership.</li><li>Change Management.</li><li>Workshop Facilitation.</li></ul>
