IT Project Manager (Retail & PO's) (Not more than 13 years of total exp.)

100% remote working daily est hours Must have Retail POS, disaster recover and cyber security Key Responsibilities Program & Project Delivery Ownership • Define and manage detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables • Drive execution against critical path and ensure accountability across cross-functional teams • Manage scope, schedule, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery outcomes Risk & Issue Management • Identify, assess, and actively manage risks, issues, and dependencies • Drive mitigation strategies and escalate appropriately to maintain timeline integrity • Resolve cross-functional conflicts impacting delivery Governance & Execution Leadership • Lead governance processes including Architecture Review Board, PMO reviews, and funding approvals • Ensure all deliverables meet internal standards, compliance, and approval requirements • Drive stage-gate processes and ensure readiness for key decision points Stakeholder Management & Communication • Serve as the primary point of accountability for project communication and execution status • Deliver clear, concise updates to senior IT leadership and business stakeholders • Align technical and non-technical teams on priorities, timelines, and deliverables Vendor & Financial Management • Manage vendor relationships, deliverables, and contractual milestones • Oversee budget tracking, forecasting, and financial performance of projects • Ensure alignment between vendor delivery and internal program objectives Cross-Functional Leadership • Lead coordination across IT, Security, Finance, Architecture, and business teams • Drive alignment and execution across multiple parallel workstreams • Influence without authority to ensure progress and accountability What This Role Is • Full ownership of project delivery and execution • Accountable for timelines, outcomes, and stakeholder alignment • A leadership role driving infrastructure transformation initiatives • A decision-making partner to senior IT leadership Qualifications: • 5+ years of Project Management experience. • Must have retail industry experience, prior experience with store technology projects (POS, self-checkout, in store tablets etc) • Prior experience managing cybersecurity projects (disaster recovery initiatives, gap remediation efforts) • Strong experience managing cross-functional, multi-workstream initiatives • Deep understanding of project governance, risk management, and delivery frameworks • Familiarity with ServiceNow Portfolio Management, preferred. • Smartsheet, Jira, or similar project tracking tool experience preferred. • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and complex dependencies • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
