The Social Media Producer will serve as a lead content creator on our Social Video team, responsible for developing and producing compelling social content that aligns with our business objectives. Your goal will be to build brand trust and loyalty through creative storytelling, achieving maximum reach and shareability. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead social video productions from pre-production to final delivery, ensuring alignment with communications business objectives.
- Collaborate with Account Management and the Content Team to funnel social video and photography requests, and communicate project status to account managers.
- Manage production calendars, assign tasks to Social Media Content Coordinators, and ensure timely project completion.
- Develop original content concepts that are timely, evergreen, and aligned with brand, product, and business priorities, as well as social trends.
- Mentor and provide guidance to new and existing Social Media Content Coordinators, promoting a culture of innovation and creativity.
- Interact with internal partners across the organization to plan and execute productions, building strong working relationships with Disney partners.
- Stay up-to-date on social media trends and platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and TikTok, to develop creative and innovative content strategies.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of social video production and post-production experience.
- Experience in social media and/or related digital marketing.
- Demonstrated ability in video editing, with proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong creative, original, and outside-the-box thinking, with a passion for social media and current trends.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with a proactive mindset and openness to feedback.
- Affinity for the Disney Brand and a solution-oriented perspective that manages change well.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to formulate a point of view and clearly articulate it.
- Proactive self-starting approach and eagerness to learn.
- Broad understanding of the role of social media in society today and its application to business.
- Experience with using and writing social copy for various social media platforms.
- Knowledge and understanding of social media KPIs.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary range of $73,400.00-$98,400.00 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek, with the potential for a bonus and/or long-term incentive units. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
