Licensed Therapist (LCSW) Part-Time Contract · Remote · New York OtherKind Health is building a modern anxiety-care company that's structured, measurement-driven, and AI-enabled. We're bringing on experienced LCSWs to help us prove and refine the model. This isn't a seat at an established clinic. It's a chance to do strong clinical work inside something being built, and to help shape how it gets built. The role suits a seasoned clinician who wants flexible hours alongside an existing job or practice, and who's drawn to a more deliberate, modern way of practicing than the typical caseload-and-notes grind. You don't need to be a published expert. You need solid, real-world experience treating anxiety and an interest in doing it well. What We're Building Most therapy is inconsistent and hard to measure. OtherKind is reworking that with a structured anxiety-care model: practical skill-building, regular progress review, and AI-assisted workflows that cut admin instead of adding it. We're an early-stage company, so the clinicians who join now help sharpen the model, the workflows, and the tooling. Our clients come motivated and ready to do the work. Most are in the preparation or action stage, looking for structure, skills, and momentum. What You'll Do • Provide individual telehealth therapy to adults in New York • Treat anxiety-related concerns: GAD, panic, OCD patterns, avoidance, perfectionism, rumination, stress, and life transitions • Apply CBT, ERP, ACT, or DBT skills as clinically appropriate • Assign and review between-session practice • Work within OtherKind's session structure and clinical workflows, and help refine them • Share what's working and what isn't, so your input shapes the next version of the model • Maintain timely documentation, supported by our AI-assisted workflow Scheduling & Caseload Set your own availability and we'll route referrals to match. There's no large minimum commitment. You can run a caseload as small as 6 sessions a week, which makes this realistic alongside a full-time job or an existing practice. Most clinicians start at 6 to 10 clients per week and settle into a steady caseload by 90 days. Anything beyond that is your call. Referrals We handle marketing and patient acquisition, so you can focus on care. There's no building a caseload from scratch. We direct referrals by licensure, availability, presenting concern, and fit. Once referred, you own the client experience through to retention. Who This Is For A strong fit will: • Want to practice in a structured, measurable way, and have opinions about how to do it better • Balance rapport with structure and accountability • Be comfortable in an early-stage environment where workflows are still being refined • See AI-assisted tooling as useful leverage Not a fit if you prefer unstructured, open-ended work, want full autonomy outside shared clinical systems, or want a settled, unchanging clinic role. Qualifications Required • Active NY LCSW in good standing, able to practice independently • Current professional liability (malpractice) insurance, or ability to obtain it before start • Several years providing individual therapy to adults • Solid working knowledge of CBT and exposure-based or ERP-informed anxiety treatment • Strong clinical judgment and comfort with telehealth Preferred • Training in CBT, ERP, ACT, or DBT skills • Experience with high-functioning adults such as professionals, students, creatives, and founders • Comfort using AI-assisted documentation tools Compensation $70 to $80 per completed session, based on experience and fit. Paid every two weeks for the sessions you provide. No-show pay: full rate for a no-show on a scheduled session, half rate for a no-show on an intake. 1099 contractor. Remote telehealth, New York. Early-morning, evening, or weekend availability a plus.
