What You'll Do
As a key member of our Data Science team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing arenaflex's analytical capabilities. Your responsibilities will include:

You'll work with complex datasets to build models that inform lending decisions, customer retention strategies, and product development initiatives.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a talented professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen. The ideal candidate will have:
Essential Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Systems, or a related quantitative field. Advanced degrees are a plus but not required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience applying statistical and econometric modeling techniques to solve complex business problems in the financial services industry.
- Strong foundation in quantitative, numerical, and statistical concepts including survival analysis, linear and logistic regression, time series analysis, panel data, decision tree analysis, and multivariate distribution theory.
- Proven ability to research and present complex statistical concepts to non-technical audiences with clarity and impact.
- Hands-on experience with advanced predictive analytics using large volumes of customer and merchant data.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools, particularly Tableau.
- Expertise in database querying languages including SQL, Teradata, and HiveQL.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, and/or SAS for statistical modeling and data analysis.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience in the payments, fintech, or banking industry
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative field
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and big data technologies
