Talk NYC Psychotherapy is a diverse group private practice that provides individual, couples, family and group psychotherapy for ages 6 through adult. We accept out of pocket as well as many in-network insurances. The practice is telehealth and the clinician must be located and working within New York State.

We are seeking a part/full time (15+ hours weekly preferable) Limited Permit Mental Health Counselors or Psychotherapists that have already graduated to provide mental health counseling to a diversified patient population using evidence-based therapy approaches.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Complete progress notes and updated calendar within 24 hours of time of service.
• Provide initial intake, diagnostic evaluations, treatment plans and progress notes.
• Maintain client’s charts and keep complete and correct documentation
• Case management including care coordination, collaborating with referral sources and connecting clients to care.
• Participate weekly in mandatory supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• GRADUATE of a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling or related field
• Preferably able to work 15-20-hours weekly
• Certificate of Professional Liability Insurance needed upon hire
• Ability to work independently as well as communicate emergency situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with various theoretical approaches.
• Experience working with Jewish individuals, couples, or families, particularly around identity, intergenerational trauma, religious observance, and community issues.
