Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Architecture

• Lead requirement gathering workshops with Finance stakeholders
  
• Design end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
  
• Define:
  • Chart of Accounts (COA)
    
  • Ledger & Legal Entity structure
    
  • Multi-org & multi-currency architecture
    
• Provide best practice solutions aligned with Oracle standards
  

2. Module Implementation & Configuration

✔ General Ledger (GL)

• Configure COA, Ledgers, Calendars
  
• Set up:
  • Allocations
    
  • Revaluation
    
  • Translation
    
  • Consolidation
    
• Financial Reporting setup
  

✔ Accounts Payable (AP)

• Invoice processing & approvals
  
• Payment processing & disbursement
  
• Expense management integration
  

✔ Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Customer invoicing & receipts
  
• Credit management
  
• Revenue recognition basics
  

✔ Fixed Assets (FA)

• Asset capitalization, depreciation
  
• Asset transfers, retirements
  

✔ Cash Management (CM)

• Bank setup & reconciliation
  
• Cash positioning
  

✔ Tax

• Configure tax regimes, rules, and rates
  

✔ Intercompany (IC)

• IC balancing rules
  
• Intercompany transactions & reconciliation
  

3. Subledger Accounting (SLA)

• Define:
  • Accounting Methods
    
  • Journal Line Rules
    
  • Account Derivation Rules (ADR)
    
• Ensure accurate accounting flow from subledgers to GL
  

4. Data Migration & Integration

• Lead data migration using:
  • FBDI / ADFdi
    
• Migrate:
  • Opening balances
    
  • Suppliers, customers, assets
    
• Work with integration tools:
  • REST/SOAP APIs
    
  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
    

5. Reporting & Analytics

• Develop reports using:
  • OTBI (Oracle Transactional BI)
    
  • BI Publisher (BIP)
    
  • Smart View
    
• Deliver:
  • Trial Balance
    
  • P&L, Balance Sheet
    
  • Cash Flow reports
    

6. Testing & Deployment

• Lead:
  • SIT & UAT cycles
    
• Prepare test scripts and scenarios
  
• Manage deployments across environments
  

7. Production Support & Enhancements

• Handle post-go-live support
  
• Troubleshoot finance issues
  
• Optimize system performance
  

8. Stakeholder & Team Management

• Act as Solution Lead / SME
  
• Mentor junior consultants
  
• Coordinate with technical teams (OIC, BIP, integrations)
  
• Communicate with business users and leadership
