As a Virtual Care Chaplain, you will be the frontline representative of our company, providing a listening ear and a compassionate heart to those in need. Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls, texts, and messages during assigned shifts (12am-6am EST), providing emotional and spiritual support to individuals in need.
- Analyze and respond to the spiritual and physical needs of callers, sharing the Gospel with permission and providing care and prayer as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and reports during and following each shift, ensuring data-driven insights to inform our care and support services.
- Demonstrate behavior aligned with our Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, and Missionary Mindset, promoting a culture of compassion, empathy, and spiritual growth.
- Participate in online team meetings, training opportunities, and other meetings called by leadership, ensuring ongoing growth and development as a Virtual Care Chaplain.
- Support the ministry of our organization through regular intercessory prayer, promoting a culture of spiritual support and guidance.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a calling to the ministry of corporate chaplain services.
- A commitment to our Christian mission and alignment with our Core Values and Missionary Mindset.
- A demonstrated personal integrity and lifestyle in keeping with an active and mature Christian walk of faith.
- Active participation in a local Christian church, with a clear understanding and conviction for our Why, How, and What (Lk 10:27).
- Proficiency in using a computer and software (such as Word & Excel), Internet, and cell phone, with the ability to multi-task and perform data entry while talking or messaging.
- A computer and smartphone necessary for receiving calls and documenting activities, with a reliable internet connection.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies from an accredited college or university.
- Denominational Ordination, Chaplain, Counseling, or Pastoral Care certification or experience.
- Previous experience in customer service, telephone, or messaging support in a call center environment.
- Seminary Student, Active or retired Missionary (international locations allowed, fluent in English), Elders and Deacons, or Seasoned Bible Study Group Leaders.

To excel in this role, you must possess:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- A compassionate and empathetic listening ear, with the ability to provide emotional and spiritual support.
- The ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision.
- A strong understanding of biblical principles and the ability to apply them in a practical and relevant way.

Compensation and Benefits
