We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal DevOps Engineer to lead our Data Platform engineering efforts. About the Role
As the Principal DevOps Engineer at arenaflex, you will serve as a Technical Subject Matter Expert and Individual Contributor responsible for spearheading our enterprise-wide DevOps transformation. You will play a critical role in defining and implementing DevOps strategies that encompass observability, scalability, availability, security, and cost-effectiveness across our data platform infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
As a Principal DevOps Engineer at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with the following core responsibilities:
- Lead DevOps Strategy Development: Architect and drive comprehensive DevOps strategy covering the design, development of tools, practices, and cultural transformation across the organization.
- Establish Best Practices: Define and implement DevOps best practices including version control, code review, automated testing, and deployment frameworks that ensure consistency and reliability.

Required Qualifications
To be considered for this Principal DevOps Engineer position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Cloud Platform Expertise: Proven experience working in public cloud environments, with preferred expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and/or Microsoft Azure, and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Containerization Technologies: Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for scalable application deployment.
- Infrastructure as Code: Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code concepts and tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for automating resource provisioning and configuration management.
