License & Scale is a fast-growing AI agency licensing program, and they are seeking an Account Manager / Customer Success Manager to manage a book of 20+ client accounts. The role involves owning client relationships, driving renewals and upsells, and interpreting paid media dashboards to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities
- Own 20+ client accounts end-to-end — onboarding, weekly check-ins, QBRs, renewals, and upsells
- Be the single point of contact for each client — you own satisfaction, retention, and growth
- Read and interpret paid media dashboards (Meta, Google Ads) — you speak CPL, CPA, and lead quality fluently
- Flag churn risk the moment signals slip — don't wait for the client to complain
- Drive upsells and expansion revenue across your book
- Run weekly client calls solo, post recaps, and keep Slack threads tight
Skills
- 2+ years as an Account Manager in a marketing / performance agency (not SaaS-only CSM)
- Has managed 20+ accounts at once — high volume, not 3–5 big logos
- Can read a Meta / Google Ads dashboard and explain performance without coaching
- Comfortable on camera — you run client calls solo without a script
- Strong async communicator — Slack, Loom, structured updates
- Owns outcomes, not activities — won't hide behind 'I sent the email'
- Based in the USA or Canada
- Home services or real estate niche experience strongly preferred
- Local lead-gen agency background (pay-per-appointment, home services, remodeling)
- Has personally saved a churning account — with a specific story and dollars attached
- Light GHL, Zapier, or automation experience
- Sales background — can rescue at-risk renewals with a consultative approach
