VitalEngine is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support implementations, operational workflows, and cross-functional initiatives within customer-facing teams. The role involves managing assigned projects, delivering updates, and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage your own portfolio of assigned projects
- Schedule and manage project meetings
- Deliver concise project updates to internal teams and stakeholders
- Manage project tasks related to assigned implementations
- Create clear, organized project documentation (trackers, follow‑ups, summaries, workflows)
- Translate technical or operational details into simple, actionable updates with the support of the technical project manager
- Maintain consistent communication with cross‑functional partners to ensure alignment
- Take ownership of assigned project tasks or sub‑workstreams with guided oversight
- Lead weekly project meetings, including agenda preparation, note‑taking, and action‑item tracking
- Manage deliverables independently, ensuring deadlines are met and escalating blockers early
- Shadow Implementation Director to observe best practices in communication, documentation, and stakeholder alignment
- Complete foundational training on VitalEngine, terminology, and clinical workflows
- Develop a clear understanding of project stages, timelines, dependencies, and risk identification
- Strengthen confidence in independent execution through weekly check‑ins and coaching
Skills
- 1-3 years of project coordination or project management experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment
- Willingness to learn technical concepts and clinical workflows
- US Citizen or legal resident
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to travel to sites to support current implementation efforts
- Valid driving license

- PMP or other project management certification (preferred)
