Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist with service needs
- Write repair orders and document customer concerns
- Recommend maintenance and repairs based on technician findings
- Communicate repair timelines, costs, and updates to customers
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnostics and repairs
- Manage workflow and ensure timely completion of service
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and CSI scores
- Upsell services and increase service department revenue
Skills
- Experience as a service advisor, service writer, or automotive service consultant
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to sell recommended services and build customer trust
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Experience as a service advisor, service writer, service consultant, or automotive customer service professional in a dealership or repair facility
