NIPRO Corporation is a global leader in renal care and medical technology, seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Sales to lead their U.S. Renal Products business. This high-impact leadership role involves driving revenue growth, building high-performing teams, and shaping commercial strategy within a complex healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Own U.S. revenue, gross margin, and overall commercial performance
- Develop and execute multi-year sales strategies aligned with enterprise goals
- Optimize growth across volume, pricing, product mix, and profitability
- Ensure compliance with pricing, contracting, and governance standards
- Build disciplined pipeline management and forecasting rigor
- Partner with Finance on annual plans and quarterly business reviews
- Deliver accurate forecasts with clear visibility into risks and opportunities
- Leverage CRM and analytics to improve performance and predictability
- Lead and scale a national, geographically distributed sales team
- Recruit, coach, and retain top sales talent
- Define territories, quotas, and KPIs aligned with strategic priorities
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and ethical selling
- Provide leadership across key national and strategic accounts
- Support complex negotiations and long-term agreements
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Clinical, and Operations teams
- Track market dynamics and competitive activity within renal care
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, and Finance
- Align sales strategy with product lifecycle and operational capabilities
- Represent Sales in executive planning and business reviews
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance standards
Skills
- Bachelor's degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive commercial experience, including renal products
- 5+ years leading regional or national sales teams
- Proven success driving revenue growth in complex healthcare markets
- Strong understanding of dialysis, nephrology, or renal care customer models
- Demonstrated ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent
- Experience operating in a large, matrixed organization
- National account management and contracting expertise
- Experience with LDOs, IDNs, or hospital systems
- Leading organizations through growth, transformation, or scale
