LHH is a fast-paced insurance organization seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Manager to lead territory growth and agency development. This role involves driving new business production, strengthening relationships with agency partners, and executing strategic sales initiatives across an assigned region.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with independent insurance agencies, brokers, and distribution partners
- Drive new business growth by recruiting, onboarding, and activating new agency partners
- Conduct regular in-person field visits, virtual meetings, and training sessions with agency partners
- Execute regional sales strategies to achieve production, revenue, and growth targets
- Support agency partners with product knowledge, underwriting guidelines, and sales tools
- Analyze territory performance and identify opportunities to increase market share and profitability
- Collaborate with underwriting, marketing, operations, and leadership teams to support agency success
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand market presence
- Maintain accurate CRM records including sales activity, forecasts, pipeline, and agency interactions
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust sales strategy accordingly
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to agency partners to improve performance
Skills
- 3–7+ years of experience in insurance sales, agency management, or field sales leadership
- Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance products and distribution channels
- Proven success in territory sales, business development, or agency relationship management
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
- Ability to work independently in a field-based, travel-heavy role
- Experience using CRM systems and managing a sales pipeline
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
