Know Your Worth PGH is a boutique financial consulting and bookkeeping firm dedicated to providing consistency, guidance, and confidence to small businesses in managing their financial outlook. They are hiring an experienced, detail-driven reviewer to provide a critical second layer of quality control on clients' books in a part-time, flexible role.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate financial statements prepared by our bookkeeping team
- Create and review high-level reporting and budgets
- Make journal entries as needed based on your review
- Provide feedback and quality checks on day-to-day bookkeeping work
- Work independently within a flexible, self-managed schedule
- Communicate findings and flag issues clearly to the team
Skills
- Accounting degree with 5+ years of professional experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including high-level reporting and budget creation
- Demonstrated experience evaluating financial statements and preparing journal entries
- Comfortable working independently and meeting monthly deliverables
- Prior auditing experience strongly preferred
- QuickBooks experience is a plus but not required — we're happy to train the right candidate
