Key Responsibilities Monitor and manage fleet operations remotely, ensuring adherence to schedules and delivery commitments. Coordinate with drivers to optimize routes, manage schedules, and provide real-time support. Utilize logistics software and telematics to track vehicle locations, performance metrics, and potential issues. Proactively identify and resolve logistical challenges, such as delays, breakdowns, or route deviations. Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS) and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with internal teams, including dispatch, sales, and management, regarding fleet status and operational updates. Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules. Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve fleet efficiency and reduce operational costs. Respond promptly to driver inquiries and provide assistance as needed to ensure smooth operations. Generate reports on fleet performance and key logistical metrics for management review. Requirements Proven experience in logistics, fleet management, or transportation coordination. Strong understanding of transportation management systems (TMS) and dispatch software. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word. Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance requirements. High-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office space. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. Experience with telematics systems and real-time tracking software is a plus.
