The FP&A Senior Associate will assist in developing and maintaining strategic and financial analyses, including financial modeling and analytics, while engaging with clients to ensure business drivers are reflected in analyses.
Responsibilities
- Building detailed operational and financial models
- Performing financial and strategic analyses to support business insights, fundraising and long-term planning
- Engaging with the client to be on top of business updates and ensure key business drivers are understood and reflected in all analyses
- Updating and improving existing client financial models
- Assisting with data analytics and dashboards
- Collecting and analyzing industry research and trends
- Preparing internal and external client presentations and proposals
- Ad hoc projects for the benefit of our clients
Skills
- 1 to 3 years experience in Valuations, Modelling, Investment Banking, Consulting, Private Equity or Venture Capital
- Previous experience building financial models
- Post-Secondary education in business administration, accounting, finance or equivalent (CPA/MBA/CFA/CBV etc)
- Strong financial/analytical skills related to corporate finance
- Outstanding analytical and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Ability to manage competing deadlines
- Experience working in remote and autonomous environments
- Knowledge of data tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, etc)
- SQL or Python
