Your mission is to research industry trends, client brands, and audience preferences, and use that knowledge to create impactful content like YouTube scripts, blogs, email newsletters, social media captions, and ads. Your work will play a crucial role in growing our clients social media presence, expanding their email databases, and attracting new business.
This role goes beyond writingyoull be a storyteller and strategist who transforms research into captivating content that embodies each clients unique voice.
What Youll Do:
Youll be responsible for writing tailored YouTube video scripts, Instagram short-form video scripts, weekly email newsletters, and turning video content into SEO-friendly blogs. In addition, youll research industry trends, analyze past client content, and use insights to ensure that all writing reflects the clients tone, voice, and brand identity.
By proofreading and editing for accuracy, grammar, and clarity, youll deliver polished, engaging content that drives audience engagement and builds trust. Staying updated on digital marketing and real estate trends will be key as you help shape content strategies that generate measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Research & Write compelling YouTube scripts
- Research & Write compelling Instagram shortform scripts
- Write weekly email newsletters
- Turn videos into blogs
- And possibly write social captions or ads
- Echo clients voice and brand
Requirements:
- Write captivating YouTube video scripts, short-form video scripts (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts), emails, and ad copy for clients in the real estate industry.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing team to develop compelling content that aligns with the client's goals and brand identity.
- Research clients' past content and industry trends to understand their voice, tone, and target audience.
- Tailor content to reflect the client's voice, tone, preferences, and feedback, ensuring consistent brand representation across all marketing materials.
- Proofread and edit content for clarity, grammar, and accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date with digital marketing and real estate industry trends, incorporating best practices and innovative ideas into content strategies.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Results:
- We will build (and maintain) a 2-3 week buffer on client scripts
- Write video scripts that maintain a 30-50%+ viewer retention
- Ensure a newsletter retention rate that never dips below 30-35%.
- Write unique, fact + plagiarism checked, grammar & spelling checked, with simple & understandable language, and matching each clients voice.
- Deliver content that has a high client satisfaction score
Salary & growth opportunities:
- Ghostwriting begins around $7.5-9 USD per hour and can grow
- Youll work with our marketing team and grow with our team.
- Youll be assigned growing responsibilities as you gain experience
- Youll be graded on your client performance results
- Once you are managing a full slate (we have a dashboard to determine a full slate based on the bandwidth taken up by the types of clients on your plate) you can be promoted full time Ghostwriter
