Compunnel Inc. is a global workforce solutions provider seeking an Integrated Marketing Manager to support merchant acquisition for their New Verticals Marketplace business. This role involves planning and executing marketing initiatives to drive merchant awareness and engagement, collaborating with internal teams and external partners like Shopify.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and execute integrated marketing strategies to drive merchant acquisition and engagement for New Verticals Marketplace
- Manage non-paid marketing initiatives from planning through execution
- Support merchant awareness, app installs, and activation through targeted marketing programs
- Own the Shopify partner marketing program from end to end
- Coordinate co-marketing initiatives with Shopify and other strategic partners
- Manage email retargeting campaigns and Shopify App Store Optimization (ASO) efforts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners
- Develop marketing content targeted toward small and medium-sized business (SMB) merchants
- Create and manage:
- Case studies
- Merchant success stories
- Customer testimonials
- Blog articles
- Marketing copy
- Campaign messaging
- Ensure messaging clearly communicates the value of merchant platform
- Manage SEO and content agency relationships
- Review agency deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely completion
- Support SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and landing page optimization initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve organic traffic and merchant acquisition
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Coordinate campaign timelines and ensure all marketing components are aligned
- Build and manage content syndication opportunities and trade media placements
- Partner with the Paid Media team and creative agency to develop paid creative testing strategies
- Support campaign messaging and creative development for paid marketing initiatives
- Work closely with Product, Brand, CRM, Paid Media, Business Operations, and external agencies
- Ensure marketing campaigns are coordinated, properly sequenced, and deliver a consistent merchant experience
- Translate business objectives into effective marketing programs
- Manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines
- Oversee agency performance, deliverables, budgets, and project timelines
- Ensure marketing initiatives are executed efficiently with minimal supervision

- 4–6 years of experience in:

- Experience working within a technology company, marketplace platform, or high-growth startup environment
- Proven experience managing partner marketing initiatives from strategy through execution
- Strong content creation and copywriting skills with experience developing customer-facing marketing materials
- Experience managing marketing agencies and external partners
- Knowledge of Shopify or SMB e-commerce platforms
- Experience managing SEO, AEO, and landing page optimization initiatives
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience working with Shopify merchants or other SMB e-commerce businesses
- Experience marketing to retail, restaurant, or local business audiences
- Background in marketplace or technology companies
- Experience managing trade media and content syndication programs
