They are seeking experienced presenters to deliver high-quality professional learning to educators, focusing on the ThinkCERCA approach to literacy and argumentation. This role involves facilitating engaging sessions for teachers and leaders, adapting content to meet audience needs, and representing the company professionally.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate dynamic, high-quality professional learning sessions for teachers, coaches, and school and district leaders, both on-site and online
- Model strong literacy instruction and adult learning practices, including example lessons and job-embedded coaching that move from training into daily classroom application
- Build deep expertise in the ThinkCERCA platform, curriculum, and instructional framework, then translate that expertise into practical, classroom-ready learning for educators
- Adapt sessions in real time to meet the needs, experience levels, and goals of each audience
- Partner with the ThinkCERCA team to prepare for engagements, customize materials, and ensure each session aligns with partner priorities
- Represent ThinkCERCA professionally in every interaction with customers and prospects
- Track and submit session notes and complete related assignments in a timely way
Skills
- A bachelor's degree in education or a related field
- Demonstrated success in the classroom and five or more years of experience in literacy, ELA, or a writing-intensive content area, with experience at the secondary level (grades 6 through 12) especially valued
- Significant experience presenting and delivering professional learning to adult audiences, with the ability to engage both large and small groups
- A confident, energetic presence that keeps a room moving and brings sessions to life
- A self-starter who learns quickly, works independently, and takes ownership of outcomes, with the drive and flexibility this kind of seasonal, on-the-road work requires
- Strong working knowledge of college and career readiness standards for literacy and a comfort discussing data with teachers and leaders
- An understanding of adult learning principles and how to apply them so participants leave ready to act
- Fluency with digital tools, including video conferencing, learning platforms, and collaboration suites
- Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with strong time management across multiple engagements
- Availability to travel heavily in July, August, September, and January is required
- Candidates should have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- A master's degree is preferred
