The Marketing Consultant role involves creating and managing marketing strategies and collateral to support client needs, while collaborating with various stakeholders to develop effective campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Creates unique, strategic marketing collateral to meet the needs of a variety of clients
- Responsible for design and marketing support for strategic marketing plans, working with in-house and outside resources to create high-impact materials programs to acquire and retain Sedgwick Pooling customers across all lines of business
- Responsible for creating and developing content developed for Sedgwick services and/or Pooling clients
- Leads strategic marketing campaigns with a variety of digital promotions, which may include branding, email blasts/newsletters, webinars, flyers, promotions, marketing campaigns, and website optimization
- Strategizes with management to analyze effective marketing campaigns through the use of data analytics with the ability to pivot toward optimization for further engagement
- Edits and proofreads marketing collateral
- Conducts research, analysis, logistics, and overall coordination of projects with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintains a working knowledge of all aspects of the business and ancillary services such as alternative risk to support national marketing programs
Skills
- Six (6) years of experience in marketing or corporate communications or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Excellent oral and written communications, including presentation skills
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
- Familiar with Web Content Management similar to WordPress, Wix, and Squarespace
- Demonstrated skills in marketing, digital marketing, writing, editing, digital analytics, strategy, and website development
- Competitive intelligence focus; familiarity with logistics software and digital analytics
- Layout and design skills; knowledge of Adobe Suite and Canva
- Attention to details, deadlines, and budget restraints
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and diplomacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Concentration in marketing or communications preferred
