Key Responsibilities
- Initiate outbound calls to patients to confirm equipment delivery details, gather necessary medical documentation, and verify order accuracy.
- Accurately transcribe patient information into careerzynith’s online pharmacy and order‑management systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and internal data‑security standards.
- Obtain and review medically necessary documentation, such as physician orders, insurance authorizations, and patient consent forms.
- Process patient orders through the careerzynith online pharmacy platform, coordinating with logistics teams to schedule timely shipments.
- Monitor shipment tracking, resolve delivery issues, and proactively reschedule orders to meet patient needs.
- Troubleshoot equipment‑related concerns reported by patients, escalating complex cases to the clinical support team when appropriate.
- Verify that each order is complete, correctly labeled, and ready for dispatch, performing final quality checks before release.
- Maintain meticulous records of all patient interactions, order statuses, and follow‑up actions within the careerzynith CRM system.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including clinical, logistics, and billing—to ensure seamless patient experiences.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; additional education in health administration or related fields is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in a medical or healthcare setting, preferably with exposure to home‑medical equipment, patient intake, or medical records management.
- Strong customer‑service background with a track record of handling high‑volume inbound and outbound communications.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes every Saturday and Sunday, plus three weekday evenings (shifts start at or after 4:00 PM Central Time).
- Residency in the United States and proximity (within 60 miles) to any careerzynith location for occasional in‑person requirements.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology, especially related to respiratory therapy, sleep apnea, wound care, and diabetes management.
- Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems, pharmacy order platforms, or similar healthcare software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and comfortable navigating internet‑based research tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex information clearly and empathetically.
