They are seeking a talented Account Executive to support integrated communications programs for B2B and enterprise technology clients, focusing on media relations, executive visibility, and storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day execution of integrated communications programs across multiple B2B and enterprise technology clients
- Build and maintain media and analyst lists, editorial calendars, activity trackers, and briefing materials
- Identify, develop, and support creative media pitches and conduct proactive outreach to secure meaningful coverage across traditional and new media (including newsletters, podcasts, creator platforms, and emerging channels)
- Draft award submissions, speaking abstracts, press releases, media material, and other communications content
- Coordinate media interviews, analyst briefings, speaking opportunities, and other client activities
- Monitor industry news, trends, and competitors to identify timely storytelling opportunities across the evolving media landscape, including traditional and new media
- Leverage AI tools responsibly to enhance research, content development, brainstorming, and workflow efficiency
- Participate in client meetings by providing updates, insights, and recommendations, while learning from senior team members
- Manage projects, timelines, and deliverables to help ensure client programs stay on track
- Collaborate closely with teammates to deliver exceptional client service and flawless execution
- Contribute ideas daily during team brainstorms and jam sessions
- Track, analyze, and report on media coverage and program results
Skills
- 2-5 years of direct public relations experience, preferably within a technology agency or startup focused on B2B and enterprise technology
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Experience managing day-to-day client relationships and expectations and juggling multiple priorities
- Experience supporting media relations programs, including developing pitches and securing earned coverage
- Familiarity with integrated communications programs, including media relations, executive thought leadership, speaking opportunities, award submissions, social media, and new media
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex technologies and translate them into compelling stories
- Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Curiosity about B2B, enterprise, deep, and frontier technology, such as AI, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, developer tools, data, open source, quantum computing, and adjacent industries
- A collaborative mindset, positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and eagerness to learn from teammates
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) required; preferred in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, media, or a related field
