They are seeking a Private Equity Business Development Representative to connect with accredited investors and introduce them to exclusive investment opportunities. This role is part of a 120-day development program aimed at providing hands-on experience in private markets and investor relations, with a clear path for promotion into a Senior Private Equity Associate role.
Responsibilities
- Proactively outreach to accredited investors via phone, email, and other channels
- Qualify investor interest and educate prospects on StartEngine’s private market offerings
- Book discovery calls and meetings for Private Equity Associates
- Maintain detailed notes and activity tracking in CRM systems
- Collaborate closely with sales leadership to refine messaging and outreach strategies
- Develop a strong understanding of private markets, secondaries, and pre-IPO investing
- Represent the StartEngine brand with professionalism, confidence, and integrity
Skills
- Must live and work in the US
- 4 year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
- High volume outbound sales experience required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort making outbound calls and engaging investors professionally
- Experience in finance, investing, fintech, or private markets
- Highly organized, disciplined, and results-driven mindset
- Coachable, curious, and motivated to grow into a sales or investing role
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment
- Must live and work permanently in the United States
