Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Airswift is looking for a Project Manager to support a major client on a 12-month contract in a remote setting. This role involves driving project delivery, coordinating workstreams, and ensuring alignment of cost, schedule, and deliverables to project objectives.
Responsibilities
- Own the project scope, work breakdown structure, schedule, and economic model
- Coordinate relevant workstreams in line with the Stage Gate Framework for project progression
- Track project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders
- Drive procurement and contracting activity for the project, working with internal functions and external vendors/suppliers
- Ensure scopes and deliverables from all workstreams meet project needs and specifications
- Own the risk register for the project and facilitate regular risk reviews and workshops
- Lead and manage change management on scope and objectives
- Chair regular progress and issue meetings, both internally and with key contractors/suppliers
- Own the project dashboard for internal and external parties
Skills
- 7-10+ years of progressive experience in project management discipline in the offshore energy, mining, or marine sectors
- Demonstrated experience operating in technically complex major capital project environments
- Proven ability to influence without direct authority
- Strong stakeholder engagement capability, including with government, communities, and international bodies
- Strong communication skills
- Relevant degree in engineering, sciences, or a related discipline
- PMP or other equivalent certification preferred but not required
