Ames Copper Group is seeking a motivated, self-driven Sales Manager to support the Resins Business sales organization in the Southwest Region. This role focuses on growing existing business, winning new customers, and strengthening strategic partnerships within a diverse customer portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the Resins business across a diverse Southwest customer base, with responsibility for approximately $20M in annual revenue
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms
- Achieving sales goals and objectives in assigned territory/customers as derived by business strategies
- Identify opportunities with existing and new accounts. Understand customer needs to uncover additional opportunities within accounts assigned across all Resins products
- Travel as required throughout the Southwest region
- Support customer satisfaction through clear, timely communication and feedback
- Build, deepen and sustain customer relationships
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- 5+ years of sales experience
- Independent, results-driven approach
- Strong ability to build and sustain customer relationships
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
- Spanish fluency strongly preferred to support a diverse customer base
- Technical background in Engineering preferred
- Chemical Engineering experience considered a strong advantage
