The Sales Specialist for Histology Consumables will develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and collaboration with various teams.
Responsibilities
- The Sales Specialist will achieve annual product sales goals set for the territory while working in coordination with the local assigned team within their territory. In addition, the associate will maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC with coaching as needed
- The associate will achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance and coordinate product demo, installs, and customer training with support from manager and/or mentor
- Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems' influence and presence across territories
- Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and strategies, utilize Strategic Selling tools (Blue sheets) with mentorship and guidance
- Develop on products, DBS, LBS Tools (such as DOMO, Showpad, Territory Business Reviews)
Skills
- Bachelor Degree with 5+ years of experience or Masters Degree with 3+ years of experience
- Proven time management skills
- Proven contract negotiation and high-level selling experience or selling in a matrixed environment
- Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software; Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Travel: 50-75%
- Must Possess a valid Driver's license; and ability to travel overnight for territory coverage (if applicable) and/or for company meetings
- Prior laboratory sales, instruments or consumables
