The Senior Account Manager is responsible for building and nurturing strong client relationships, ensuring effective execution of digital marketing campaigns, and transforming client goals into successful strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their needs, objectives, and business goals
- Lead internal and external training sessions on digital marketing, Scorpion systems and brand specifics
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies in collaboration with our internal teams, encompassing SEO, paid advertising, social media management, chat, and content marketing, to achieve client objectives
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvements to clients, covering SEO, PPC, and social media KPIs
- Identify opportunities for upselling and expanding our services within existing client accounts
- Work closely with internal teams, including the Directors, SEO specialists, paid advertising experts, social media managers, and content writers, to ensure client success
- Manage client budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve campaign objectives and return on investment
- This position requires periodic travel for client meetings and may involve attendance at industry conferences
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of professional experience in client-facing account management
- 2 years in an Account Manager role or comparable experience
- Proven experience as an Account Manager in a digital agency setting
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, strategies, and tactics, including SEO, social media, and paid advertising
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- First class organizational skills
- A keen eye for detail and an understanding of budget restraints
- Willingness to learn new programs
- Ability to interpret and leverage data for decision making
- Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- A personable and professional character to build client rapport
