Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. VocoVision is a leading provider of virtual therapy and special education services for K-12 school districts across the United States. They are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to accelerate growth within the K-12 education market by developing strategic relationships and generating new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans targeting K-12 school districts nationwide
- Prospect, qualify, and build relationships with district administrators, special education leaders, HR leaders, and executive decision-makers
- Generate opportunities for new VocoVision partnerships while expanding existing client relationships
- Support sales efforts across enterprise, managed service, and strategic partnership opportunities, including:
- Enterprise (ENT)
- Managed Service Provider (MSP)
- Managed Vendor Program (MVP)
- Lead consultative sales conversations focused on solving district staffing and student service challenges
- Deliver compelling virtual and in-person presentations to district leaders and executive stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with recruiting, operations, and clinical teams to develop customized staffing solutions
- Represent VocoVision at conferences, industry events, and client meetings
- Travel approximately 2–3 times per month for client visits, conferences, and strategic meetings
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting within CRM
- Consistently meet or exceed business development goals and revenue targets
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of successful business development or outside sales experience
- Experience selling complex solutions into K-12 school districts or educational organizations
- Proven success developing executive-level relationships and managing long sales cycles
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Experience managing a CRM and sales pipeline
- Ability to travel up to 20% as business needs require
- Experience within Education Technology (EdTech), SaaS, education staffing, or educational services
- Experience selling enterprise software or managed services
- Understanding of special education, teletherapy, or school staffing solutions
- Demonstrated experience mentoring, coaching, or developing sales professionals
- Familiarity with district purchasing processes, cooperative purchasing, or state education funding
