What You'll Do
As a Remote Data Analyst & Risk Assessment Specialist at arenaflex, you will be instrumental in supporting our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) initiatives and compliance requirements. Your work will directly contribute to identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks across our US and global operations. Here's what you can expect in this role:
- Risk Identification and Analysis: Identify information to support a wide variety of Enterprise Risk Management and risk evaluation objectives, compliance requirements, and scenario planning areas across all business units.
- Data Collection and Processing: Collect and process information from disparate data systems throughout our US and global businesses, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all data assets.
- Dashboard Development: Design and develop interactive dashboards that assist stakeholders in scoping risks and evaluating the maturity of associated controls, providing actionable insights at a glance.
- Custom Reporting: Construct custom reports as needed to support specific business requirements, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision-making processes.
- Analytics Implementation: Apply expertise in analytics strategies and tools to develop defensible and consistent methodologies for assessing risk across the organization.
- Insight Generation: Draw insights and correlations from complex datasets and communicate findings effectively to compliance professionals, attorneys, and business leaders through compelling visualizations and narratives.
- Emerging Risk Monitoring: Provide input on new and emerging risk areas using data-driven analysis, helping arenaflex stay ahead of potential challenges.

- Technical Proficiency: Deep SQL expertise and proficiency in analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Tableau Prep, BigQuery, PowerApps, and Dataiku
- Industry Experience: Experience working on legal, compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, or risk evaluation matters
- Visualization Skills: Adept at generating impactful visualizations and using data to 'tell a story' that resonates with diverse audiences
- Programming Skills: Ability to code using R or Python for data analysis and statistical modeling
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings into actionable business insights
