Talener is a growing technology company focused on AI-powered data and analytics products, and they are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team. The role involves owning cloud infrastructure, improving automation, and collaborating with engineering teams to build scalable and reliable systems.
Responsibilities
- Own and support the company's AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability
- Build, deploy, and manage Kubernetes (EKS) environments and containerized applications
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Improve and support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release processes
- Work closely with engineering and security teams to implement infrastructure best practices and resolve production issues
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
- Help guide technical decisions around cloud architecture and mentor other engineers as needed
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering
- Strong hands-on AWS experience across core services such as EC2, IAM, S3, EKS, and related technologies
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
- Strong Terraform experience and Infrastructure as Code expertise
- Experience building and supporting Git-based CI/CD pipelines
- Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar languages
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, monitoring, and high-availability environments
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of infrastructure initiatives
- U.S. work authorization is required. No visa sponsorship is available at this time
- Remote opportunity with a need for candidates located on the east coast of the US, able to work EST Hours
