Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Asamanta Technologies LLC is seeking an expert SAP BASIS Consultant specializing in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) migrations. You will lead the technical architecture and execution of upgrading the legacy GTS landscape to SAP GTS, edition for SAP HANA, requiring deep technical knowledge in various SAP technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical phases of GTS migration using Software Update Manager (SUM) with DMO
- Design high-availability target landscapes for GTS e4H on SAP HANA database
- Execute and analyze SAP Readiness Checks and Simplification Item Catalogs for GTS
- Optimize HANA database performance, memory allocation, and large-table partitioning post-migration
- Configure and secure RFC connections, ALE/IDoc frameworks, and CPI/PI interfaces between GTS and S/4HANA/ECC feeders
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot SAP Fiori Apps and Launchpads specific to GTS e4H
- Diagnose and resolve complex upgrade dumps (ST22), lock table overflows, and data dictionary (DDIC) activation failures
Skills
- Minimum 7+ years in SAP BASIS administration with at least 2 full-lifecycle SAP GTS migrations/upgrades
- Mastery of SUM, DMO, SWPM, SAP Landscape Management (LaMa), and Solution Manager 7.2
- Deep expertise in SAP HANA administration, backup/recovery, and HANA System Replication (HSR)
- Proven experience with legacy GTS data model conversions to the simplified e4H table structures
- Strong Linux administration skills (SUSE or RHEL) and cloud platform infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA
- OS/DB Migration certification
