They are looking for a Social Media Manager to manage client accounts, drive growth, and lead content strategy while ensuring client success and retention.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for client-facing tasks, client calls, maintaining and building client relationships, etc
- Build content strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook
- Write hooks and scripts, build shot lists, and run film sessions (you direct the client on camera)
- Hand off footage to editors with clear instructions and manage content through to publish
- Track every deliverable and deadline in Basecamp
- Read the analytics every week and adjust what isn't working
- Train and lead a Social Media Assistant under you
- Catch retention risks early and flag them before they become complaints
Skills
- Experience managing client accounts in social media
- Ability to build content strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook
- Strong writing skills for hooks and scripts
- Experience directing clients on camera during film sessions
- Ability to manage content through to publish
- Experience tracking deliverables and deadlines in project management tools like Basecamp
- Ability to read analytics and adjust strategies accordingly
- Experience training and leading a team member
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Ability to take ownership and work independently
- Comfortable with direct feedback and able to act on it quickly
- Proficient with tools such as Basecamp, Notion, Hootsuite, Frame.io, and Hubstaff
- Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude for scripting and ideation
