They are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications with a focus on scalability and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Design high-quality software applications and automation tools, ensuring best practices in coding and testing are applied
- Conduct Experience reviewing code to find and address potential issues and defects code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Perform rigorous unit testing and debugging to resolve software defects, ensuring a reliable application
Skills
- Expert-level proficiency in .Net C#, Java and experience in React, NodeJs would be an added advantage
- Experience with server-side programming models and REST API standards
- Proficient in working with relational databases, such as SQL
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms AWS
- Experience with continuous integration, deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Proficient in using Git for source control
- Experience designing and building scalable microservice architectures
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, with 4+ years of relevant work experience in software development or automation roles
- Experience in writing unit and integration test cases to ensure software quality and reliability
- Prior experience working within an Agile team is important for this role
- Proficient in object-oriented design, with a understanding of common design patterns
- Experience providing engineering support to customer support team to resolve any critical customer issues
- Recent experience from a product-based company
