This role focuses on data extraction, report development, and Power BI dashboard creation to support financial, executive, and operational reporting.
Responsibilities
- Query and extract data from multiple healthcare and billing databases using SQL
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries and reports
- Design and build Power BI dashboards and visualizations
- Aggregate and transform data into actionable business insights
- Support reporting needs across:
- 40% Financial Reporting
- 30% Executive Dashboards
- 30% Operational Reporting
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
- Handle ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests as needed
Skills
- 10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or similar role
- Healthcare or Clinical industry experience is mandatory
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including querying multiple databases and healthcare/billing system applications
- Expertise in report writing and data analysis
- Hands-on experience with Power BI for dashboard development and data visualization
- Ability to aggregate and transform data from multiple sources into meaningful business insights
- Experience supporting financial, executive, and operational reporting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage ad hoc reporting requests in a fast-paced environment
