The National Account Manager (NAM) is responsible for developing and managing strategic client relationships, driving revenue growth, and positioning HKA as a trusted advisory partner across its consulting and advisory services.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute account strategies for assigned national accounts, aligned with HKA’s growth objectives
- Build multi‑level relationships across client organizations, from operational stakeholders to executive leadership
- Serve as the primary commercial liaison, ensuring consistent communication and long‑term partnership
- Identify and pursue cross‑sell and upsell opportunities across HKA service lines
- Drive new project origination within existing accounts and support expansion into new geographies or business units
- Develop accurate revenue forecasts and account plans, maintaining CRM discipline
- Understand client business drivers, risk profiles, and pain points to position HKA solutions effectively
- Collaborate with delivery leaders and subject matter experts to craft tailored proposals and solutions
- Ensure strong client satisfaction through proactive issue management and regular business reviews
- Coordinate with Operations, Delivery, Finance, and Marketing to ensure seamless execution
- Lead internal account teams, aligning resources around client priorities
- Act as a voice of the client internally, advocating for solutions that enhance value and retention
Skills
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise or national account management, preferably in professional services, consulting, or advisory environments
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi‑stakeholder client relationships
- Demonstrated success driving account expansion and recurring revenue growth
- Strong business acumen, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
- Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams without direct authority
- Experience in construction, engineering, risk, forensic, claims, or dispute‑related services
- Familiarity with long sales cycles and project‑based revenue models
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred
