Responsibilities
As a Seasonal Customer Service Agent, you'll be responsible for:
- Answering incoming calls and assisting customers affected by hurricanes and other natural disasters
- Providing empathetic and accurate support to customers in crisis
- Documenting call outcomes in company systems to ensure seamless customer experience
- Attending a paid 1–2 day virtual training session before activation to ensure you're equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this role
- Remaining on standby for rapid deployment during hurricane season, ready to respond to customer needs at a moment's notice
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (required)
- To reside in Louisiana, Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Houston (required)
- Fluency in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
- Excellent typing, computer, and communication skills
- The ability to work 8-hour shifts, including evenings and weekends
- A quiet, dedicated home workspace
