Position Overview – Activities Director (Salus Coach)
We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and highly organized Activities Director who will also serve as our resident Salus Coach. In this dual‑role, you will design, coordinate, and deliver a comprehensive calendar of cultural, spiritual, physical, social, and intellectual activities that support the holistic wellbeing of each resident. - Budget Stewardship: Participate in the annual budgeting process, monitor expenses, and meet monthly financial targets while optimizing resource utilization.

Essential Qualifications
- Associate degree in recreation, leisure studies, gerontology, or a closely related field; or equivalent combination of education and at least two years of full‑time experience delivering recreational programs to senior adult populations.
- Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate the community van safely and responsibly.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and electronic scheduling tools; basic typing skills (minimum 30 wpm).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to tailor messaging to residents, families, staff, and external vendors.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities, with a proven track record of juggling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
- Physical capacity to lift 40‑50 lb, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods during activity delivery.
