About the Data Analytics Team

As a Senior Data Analyst in this group, you'll play a prominent technical role that contributes directly to revealing critical data insights and delivering exceptional business results. You'll work closely with Product and Data Science teams to transform raw data into strategic assets that power decision-making across the entire organization.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Data Analyst at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for translating business requirements into meaningful analytical projects. Your work will directly impact our ability to serve customers better and optimize operations across all channels. Here's what you can expect in this role:
- Business Requirements Analysis: You'll dive deep into understanding business information requirements, analyzing business systems and processes to identify the most appropriate data sources that serve specific purposes.
- Statistical Analysis: Support the identification and application of statistical methods based on project requirements. You'll aid in the planning, design, and execution of exploratory data analysis research projects.
- Project Translation: Convert business requirements into structured projects, activities, and tasks while developing specific artifacts. You'll identify appropriate methodologies and tools to provide effective solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Data Scientists, Business Stakeholders, and Engineering teams to ensure analytical solutions align with business objectives.
- Data Visualization: Generate appropriate graphical representations of data and model results. Understand client requirements to design suitable data visualizations for various datasets.
- Insight Generation: Transform complex datasets into compelling narratives that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.
What You'll Bring

Essential Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical approach and critical thinking capabilities.
- Data Experience: Proven experience working with large datasets, extracting meaningful insights, and telling compelling stories using data.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to work with massive data and write code and queries in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis.
- Database Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of database technologies and distributed datastores including SQL, NoSQL, and cloud-based solutions.
- Big Data & Cloud: Familiarity with Big Data and Cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.
- Visualization Skills: Experience with visualization tools and best practices including Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in retail or e-commerce analytics
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and their business applications
- Experience with A/B testing and experimental design
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Project management experience in data-driven initiatives
