As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our subscribers receive accurate, timely, and legally compliant information about their accounts, pricing changes, subscription upgrades, and service modifications. Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with a variety of strategic responsibilities that bridge the gap between technical data infrastructure and business operations. Your daily activities will include:
- Data Requirements Management: Oversee admission and document comprehensive data requirements related to subscriber communication initiatives, including cost increases, subscriber plan modifications, new data collection efforts, and episode remediation processes. Ensure that the right customers receive appropriate refunds when required.
- SQL Query Development: Develop complex queries based on required business logic, including legally committing queries, to determine accurate cohorts of subscribers for communication and remediation purposes. Your queries will ensure regulatory compliance while maximizing operational efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Translate business requirements into technical specifications for engineering teams, and provide concise summaries of technical progress or potential roadblocks to business stakeholders. Serve as the vital link between technical and non-technical teams.
- Subscriber Data Expertise: Develop a thorough understanding of subscriber balances and the technical infrastructure that underlies our subscriber data systems. Become the go-to subject matter expert for data-related inquiries.
- Project Management: Manage project planning and schedules while overseeing cross-functional delivery to ensure readiness for significant business events, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Drive alignment across Data, Business Operations, and Finance teams through the development of robust communication processes and operational playbooks that ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Reporting Solutions: Collaborate with Data Product and Data Quality Engineering teams to contribute to the design of robust reporting solutions that minimize data incidents and maximize data integrity.
- Incident Response: Work closely with incident management, Business Operations, and trade engineering teams to ensure the integrity of our subscriber balances and that customers receive appropriate credits or refunds when required.
- Quality Assurance: Validate the accurate delivery of subscription change communications, including cost increases, subscriber plans, and new data collection initiatives by identifying which subscribers should receive our legally committed notifications.
- Remediation Identification: Identify subscribers impacted by incidents requiring necessary and legal remediations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Business Analytics. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- SQL Expertise: Minimum 2 years of professional experience developing in SQL, particularly within an ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processing pipeline environment. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in writing complex queries, optimizing query performance, and understanding database architectures.
