About the Role
As our Senior Director of Risk Management, you'll be at the forefront of developing and implementing sophisticated business procedures and risk management frameworks. You'll leverage both structured and unstructured data to uncover insights that drive strategic decision-making across our organization. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership capability.
You'll work closely with technology teams and cross-functional stakeholders to integrate risk management approaches into our core business strategies. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing arenaflex's products and services while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Risk Initiatives: Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies that align with arenaflex's business objectives and growth targets.
- Advanced Data Analysis: Investigate and interpret complex datasets using statistical, financial, AI, and business intelligence methodologies to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with technology teams, business units, and external stakeholders to integrate risk management frameworks into enterprise-wide operations.
- Data Source Innovation: Identify and evaluate new internal and external data sources that can drive sustainable profitability and enhance arenaflex's competitive position.
- Regulatory Excellence: Apply industry best practices and incorporate regulatory feedback to continuously improve risk management strategies and ensure compliance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex analytical findings into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences across the organization.
- Process Optimization: Conduct cost-benefit analyses and develop strategies for business process improvement, driving operational efficiency and measurable outcomes.
- Project Leadership: Lead business transformation initiatives, including process reengineering and organizational change management.
Technical Requirements
- Expert proficiency in MS Excel for financial reporting, modeling, and data analysis
- Strong experience with Databricks, Python, R, SAS, and SQL for advanced analytics
- Proficiency in visualization tools such as Tableau
- Experience with Teradata and Unix operating systems
- Strong understanding of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies
Qualifications & Experience
Education Requirements
Required: Graduate degree (Master's or equivalent) in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Essential Experience
Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of one year of experience in each of the following areas:
- Comprehensive risk management within financial services or consumer analytics
