The Role: Senior E-Commerce Analytics Analyst
As a Senior E-Commerce Analytics Analyst at arenaflex, you'll serve as a strategic partner in driving our digital presence forward. You'll lead initiatives aimed at optimizing our website and mobile applications by providing comprehensive reporting and analysis across all digital metrics. Your work will be instrumental in enhancing our e-commerce capabilities and ensuring we deliver the exceptional digital experience our customers deserve.
This position offers the unique opportunity to work cross-functionally with various departments, including Product Development, Revenue Analytics, Marketing, Ancillaries, and Information Technology. You'll be at the forefront of translating complex data into actionable insights that directly influence business decisions and strategic prioritization within the Product Organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Insights: Transform raw data into meaningful insights that unlock growth opportunities across e-commerce, acquisition, and customer retention initiatives. Your analytical expertise will directly impact our ability to serve customers better and grow our digital footprint.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Create intuitive, easily interpretable formats including dynamic dashboards and management reports that drive key business decisions. You'll ensure leadership has the visibility they need to make informed strategic choices.
- Competitive Intelligence: Leverage multiple reporting tools and syndicated intelligence to identify market trends and competitive developments. Stay ahead of industry shifts and provide strategic recommendations based on your findings.
- Error Analysis: Conduct thorough error analysis of all digital products, identifying issues that impact user experience and working with teams to implement solutions that enhance platform reliability.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Execute special projects, comprehensive reviews, and in-depth analyses as directed by senior leadership, providing timely and accurate deliverables that support critical business objectives.
- Executive Communication: Present collected data in executive summaries and presentations to leadership, translating complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Data Integrity: Maintain rigorous data accuracy through weekly data acquisition, processing, cleaning, and auditing procedures. Ensure stakeholders can trust the insights they rely upon for decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Product and IT teams to ensure business requirements are met with well-maintained data architecture and mapping for seamless information flows.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders both within and outside the organization, fostering collaboration and driving shared success.
- Mentorship: Assist in developing junior team members across Revenue Analytics, Pricing, and Revenue Management teams, deepening the team's collective skillset and improving overall performance.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience demonstrating analytical proficiency.
- Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in e-commerce and Digital Analytics, with a proven track record of delivering measurable value through data-driven decision-making.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to navigate complex datasets and extract meaningful patterns.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Multi-Tasking: Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, dynamic environment without losing attention to detail.
- Initiative: Strong problem-solving orientation with the willingness to own resolutions and step into leadership vacuums when opportunities arise.
- Certifications: Google Analytics Certifications are highly preferred and demonstrate commitment to professional development.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the travel or hospitality industry is a plus but not required—we value transferable skills and diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Analytics Platforms: Deep knowledge of Google Analytics, with preference for experience in GA4 (Google Analytics 4) implementation and analysis.
- Tag Management: Experience with Google Tag Manager for implementing and managing tracking solutions across digital properties.
- Reporting Tools: Familiarity with error analysis and reporting platforms including Content Square, Dynatrace, and Noibu for comprehensive digital experience monitoring.
- Project Management: Excellent time management and organizational skills, with experience organizing workflows and guiding others in these areas.
- Decision-Making: Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and maintaining productive stakeholder relationships.
- Collaboration: Experience operating in high-level collaborative environments and promoting a teamwork mentality across functional teams.
- Problem Anticipation: Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively work to prevent obstacles before they impact operations.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of coding and design best practices is a plus, demonstrating technical curiosity and versatility.
- DevOps: Experience in Azure Dev Ops is a plus, showing familiarity with modern development and deployment workflows.
