About the Role

As a Senior Finance Analyst at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in driving our financial planning and analysis capabilities. You will be responsible for producing quarterly sales and unit forecasts, analyzing cost of income, and providing strategic insights that directly influence business decisions. • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct in-depth analysis of cost of income, gross margins, and profitability across product lines. Provide detailed variance analysis and commentary to senior management on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Investment Evaluation: Support the business in evaluating short-term and long-term investments, ensuring that capital allocation decisions are aligned with ROI maximization goals and strategic priorities.
• Cost Control and Optimization: Implement robust cost control mechanisms, including benchmarking, productivity analysis, and engagement metrics for various business segments. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Revenue and Pricing Management: Ensure revenue recognition aligns with targets and conduct deep-dive analyses on cost structures. Work closely with the accounting team to guarantee accurate accruals and proper payout channel management.
• Credit and Receivables Management: Proactively manage credit limits and ensure outstanding receivables are maintained within acceptable thresholds. Collaborate with finance and sales teams to optimize cash flow.
• Quarterly Financial Close: Participate actively in the quarterly financial close process, contributing to the most accurate assumptions in quarterly financials based on cost-to-serve models. Provide forward-looking analysis at the most granular level.
• Channel Claims and Compensation: Oversee end-to-end channel claims processes, ensuring proper documentation and sign-off. Guarantee that all partner claims are reconciled and communicated quarterly. Manage income compensation control with precision.
• Pricing Strategy: Develop and maintain India-specific price lists and effectively communicate pricing structures to channel partners. Review and update VAT, CST, and customs duty impacts on a regular basis.
• Tax Analysis: Analyze composite tax charges on a quarterly basis and proactively identify tax optimization opportunities. Ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations.
• Financial Systems and Process Improvement: Enhance reporting capabilities and business intelligence tools delivered to business partners and management. Improve and automate cost tracking while fine-tuning existing reports for maximum effectiveness.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate actively with the broader Finance Planning and Analysis (FPA) team to ensure improved performance in cost forecasting and planning preparation with full accuracy. Engage in system initiatives with close coordination with shared services centers.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role at arenaflex, you must possess the following qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration is required. A Master's degree (MBA) or professional qualification like Chartered Accountancy (CA) is highly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or related roles. Prior experience in a corporate finance environment, preferably in the technology or consumer electronics industry, will be advantageous.
