Key Responsibilities Identify and research potential funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources. Develop strong relationships with program staff to gather necessary information and ensure proposal alignment. Edit and proofread grant materials for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to funder guidelines. Prepare grant reports and follow-up documentation as required by funders. Maintain a database of submitted proposals, awarded grants, and funder relationships. Stay abreast of trends and best practices in grant writing and fundraising. Collaborate with the development team to align grant strategies with overall fundraising goals. Contribute to the organization's strategic planning and proposal development efforts. Requirements Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Non-profit Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of professional grant writing experience, with a proven track record of securing significant funding. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to tailor proposals to diverse audiences. Strong research and analytical abilities to identify funding opportunities and understand program needs. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a remote environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with grant research databases (e.g., Foundation Directory Online). Familiarity with international humanitarian aid or development sectors is a significant advantage.
