Job Summary
We're looking for a seasoned Senior Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a background in management consulting, investment banking, or experience working in a strategy or business planning role within the media & entertainment and/or direct-to-consumer industry. You'll be responsible for synthesizing data and insights across business partners to solve key business problems, develop end-to-end processes, craft the Hulu business narrative, and inform decisions by DTC leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Analysis: Become an expert in Hulu-specific content and operations, conducting cross-platform audits, and non-tech, pre-launch quality control for new titles. Develop detailed financial models utilizing user data and forecasts to facilitate decision-making and optimization across the portfolio.
- Partner Operations: Work effectively in a team environment, coordinating Hulu business needs cross-functionally with key partners, including Marketing, Product, and Ad Sales. Develop and implement guidelines and playbooks for complex operational workflows across the streaming value chain.
- Strategic Insights: Track business performance in collaboration with finance, analytics, and research teams to aid goal setting and evaluation of potential opportunities within the Hulu portfolio. Structure complex and ambiguous operational/business issues and develop compelling, insightful recommendations.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree: BA/BS Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a related field, such as management consulting, investment banking, or strategy/business planning.
- Analytical and Technical Skills: Strong analytical and technical skills, including financial modeling, data analysis, and problem-solving.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and communicate complex and technical information.
