REQUIREMENTS

We're looking for a Mobile QA Engineer who has

Nice to have

  • Experience with Gherkin/BDD tools (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow);
  • Knowledge of mobile accessibility testing (VoiceOver, TalkBack);
  • Familiarity with performance profiling tools (Android Studio Profiler, Xcode Instruments);
  • Deep-link and analytics validation experience (e.g., Firebase, Segment, Appsflyer);
  • Exposure to light automation frameworks (XCUITest, Espresso, Detox);
  • Understanding of security basics such as SSL pinning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Mobile QA Engineer, you will:

  • Create risk-based test strategies, plans, and traceability matrices;
  • Run various types of testing: functional, regression, exploratory, upgrade, and smoke testing across multiple device configurations;
  • Maintain structured test documentation using AIO Test in Jira;
  • Perform backend and integrational testing, using Postman, Swagger, and log inspection to validate data integrity;
  • Compare network traffic to API contracts and validate responses;
  • File detailed defects in Jira (with severity, repro steps, expected/actual results);
  • Own test jobs in GitLab CI, verify build artifacts, and conduct upgrade/rollback testing;
  • Sign off on release readiness, collaborating with stakeholders to make go/no-go decisions;
  • Prepare and publish concise test-run and release reports.
